چکیده
The effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus on growth and photosynthetic pigments in medicinally important Coriandrum sativum with different levels of Cadmium (Cd) was investigated. Plants inoculated with and without AM fungi were grown in soil with 0, 50 and 100 Cd mg kg soil. The plants 1 inoculated with AM fungi showed better growth and less toxic symptoms. Photosynthetic pigments were significantly higher in AM-inoculated plants. Plant inoculated with AM fungus showed significant increase in fresh weight, dry weight, root and shoot length at all levels of Cd concentration, as compared with the control. Tolerance index of Coriandrum sativum was increased in the presence of AM fungi over their control.

Lead is a nonessential element that has a negative effect on plant growth and development. Plant symbiosis with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in soils contaminated with heavy metals can affect growth of plant, nutrition and tolerance against heavy metals. In this study, the effect arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi Glomus intraradices on the growth, photosynthetic pigments, protein content, prol...

The present study investigates the effects of Glomus mosseae and Glomus intraradices on the resistance of green basil plants to salinity stress. The findings suggested that there was an interaction of effects between mycorrhiza fungi inoculation and salt stress on the physiological characteristics of Ocimum basilicum L. On one hand, salinity decreased percentage of root colonization, root lengt...
